Ephemerides

Astronomical tables that contain the celestial bodies’ positions.

An ephemeris is a book of numerical planetary positions that lists where the planets will be in the zodiac on any given day of the calendar year, together with certain astronomical and astrological features.

There are midnight and noon ephemerides, which usually contain data for 50 or 100 years.

Even though modern computer technology has reduced the need for these books, it is interesting to “flip through time,” if you know how to interpret the symbols and numbers.
